Molly Chambers

Molly smiling and leaning against a white concrete wall

Listen & Follow

Sundays
10 AM – 12 PM

Every day, Molly walks into the studio with a few things: at least two beverages (usually water and either blue Gatorade or cherry Coke), a book, a protein bar, and a smile. Molly’s a friend who you can both laugh with and lean on. She loves to have fun and crack jokes, but when the rubber hits the road, you can count on Molly standing by your side, praying for and with you. And she’s quick to encourage you, ready to point out evidence of God at work in your life.

Molly’s always picking up a new hyper-fixation. But her staple hobbies are fitness, reading, and brushing up on her Mandarin Chinese. Molly grew up in Pasadena, Maryland with her parents and four brothers, listening to BRIGHT-FM every day. Now she lives in Delaware with her husband, Vaughn, who’s a mechanical engineer, and their son.

When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I remember wanting to be a lot of different things, from a dancer or singer, to a dolphin trainer like the ones I saw at the National Aquarium, to a meteorologist. But as I grew up, it became my dream to work at BRIGHT-FM, and here we are now!

What would you name your boat if you had one?
Shia LaBoat

Favorite song?
So hard to choose! But a classic that’s always on my favorites list is “I’ve Just Seen A Face” by The Beatles.

Favorite Bible verse?
Isaiah 12:2 “Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.” I not only love the use of semicolons in this verse; I have also been carried through many dark times with it as my weapon. It’s a powerful declaration when you’re walking through something tough.

What makes you laugh the most?
My family. Both sides, mine and Vaughn’s. Whenever we see our families, we just laugh constantly.
