Listen & Follow

Weekdays, 3 PM – 7PM

Molly’s a 20-something, newbie to the radio industry, and a newlywed. As such, she has a lot that she’s still figuring out—but don’t we all? She might be too bashful to tell you, but Molly’s that friend who is always on your side, quietly rooting and praying for you. And when you need it most, you can count on her having a compliment, a piece of encouragement, or a joke ready to lift you up.

She’s always picking up a new hobby, but her staples are fitness, reading, listening to podcasts, and brushing up on her Mandarin Chinese. Molly grew up in Pasadena, MD with her parents and four brothers, graduated from Messiah College in 2019, and now lives in North East, MD with her husband, Vaughn.

When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I remember wanting to be a lot of different things, from a dancer or singer, to a dolphin trainer like the ones I saw at the National Aquarium, to a meteorologist. But as I grew up, it became my dream to work at BRIGHT-FM, and here we are now!

What would you name your boat if you had one?
Shia LaBoat

Favorite song?
This changes very often. Right now, I would probably say “Holy Water” by We The Kingdom. But a classic that’s always on my favorites list is “I’ve Just Seen A Face” by The Beatles.

Favorite Bible verse?
Isaiah 12:2 “Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.” I not only love the use of semicolons in this verse; I have also been carried through many dark times with it as my weapon. It’s a powerful declaration when you’re walking through something tough.

What makes you laugh the most?
My family. Both sides, mine and Vaughn’s. Whenever we see our families, we just laugh constantly.
