The Security We Have Through Jesus
Security, full understanding, mystery.
Those words might not seem to go together at first, but Christ gives us full security in our relationship with Him. We don’t ever have to wonder if His love will run out or if He will run out on us. We are safe, and we can trust Him always. We will never run out of new things to discover about Him. He is infinitely deep with mystery and will share with us more and more of who He is.
My sweet husband Gary is so intentional about securing my heart. I am completely safe and covered by his love, I rest in his faithfulness, I am still learning about him. Just this week, he told me 2 stories about his life that I’ve never heard before. I love learning about him, and I don’t plan to ever stop.
I love that in Christ, we have full security and eternal mystery. There will always be more to know about who Jesus is, and I am secure in Him always with what I do understand and even what I don’t. What a beautiful relationship the Lord gives us with Himself!
