Let’s pause together for a minute and ask ourselves this question: have we given the Lord any glory, honor, or praise yet today for what He has done for us?

Look at this powerful verse from Isaiah.

O Lord, I will honor and praise your name,
    for you are my God.
You do such wonderful things!
    You planned them long ago,
and now you have accomplished them.
-Isaiah 25:1

Isaiah honored and praised God because he realized something so many of us lose sight of each day. What Isaiah remembered was this: God always completes His plans just like He promised.

But wait, God’s goodness and faithfulness don’t stop there with Isaiah or end with anyone else we read about in the Bible. No, no, no. God also fulfills His promises to you and me!

Today, as we look ahead to a new week, one that might include some trials and storms, let’s think about all of the prayers that God has answered for us, for our friends, and for our families. One way to do this is to take a few minutes to write down these answered prayers and thank the Lord for His goodness and mercy.

Let’s give Him praise today because (and this is the best part) He’s still not done.
