Recently, it was announced that Apple TV acquired the rights to the Peanuts franchise, which means they own the Charlie Brown holiday specials we all know and love.

Along with this announcement, came the news that the Charlie Brown Christmas and Thanksgiving specials would not be aired on TV this year like they usually are *GASP*

After not airing “It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown” in October, chaos erupted as people longed to see the beloved Peanuts characters on their screens. Well, the influx of complaints ended up working because, drumroll please…

Charlie Brown is BACK!

PBS and Apple TV have teamed up to make sure people can see the lovable little Charlie Brown and his friends on their TVs once again

On November 22 at 7:30pm, “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” will air on PBS and PBS Kids. You can also catch “A Charlie Brown Christmas” on Dec. 12 at 7:30 p.m.
