Molly’s Minute: When You’re Wondering Why

The question I ask God the most is probably, “Why?”
“Why is this happening to me, God?” “Why are you doing this to me?” “God, why can’t I catch a break?”
When we’re going through a difficult time, we naturally wonder why. Because we’re hurting. And we want to know if our pain is really necessary.
If you’re in a tough season of life right now, if you’re hurting, I hope today that you will remember this:
God always has a why.
He always has a reason for what happens in our lives, even our pain.
He might not tell us what it is today, tomorrow, or the next day. But He does have a reason, He has a lesson, He has something good hidden in every struggle of ours.
So, the next time you ask “Why,” I hope you find comfort in knowing that God does have an answer. And He’ll make it clear to you in His perfect timing.
1 Corinthians 13:12 “For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.”
