Molly’s Minute: When You Walk Through Deep Waters

Think back to one of the high points in your life. God probably felt so close to you then. It was so easy to see His presence and His goodness because of all the wonderful things going on for you. 

But what about the low points in your life? You might be in one right now.

Can you still see God with you there?

Sometimes, when we’re walking through something tough, we start to think that God has disappeared. We ask, why would he let these terrible things happen to me if He’s still there? He must have left me.

But God never leaves you. He is with you even in those dark times.

Isaiah 43:2 says, “When you walk through deep waters, I will be with you.”

He’s not just with us when everything’s easy.

He is with us in the hospital. He’s with us in the funeral home. He’s with us when we feel alone. He walks through those deep waters with us.

He is with us always.

So, will you look for God in your situation today? If you do, I promise, you will find Him there.
