The Good In Good Friday
Think back to a moment in your life that felt really hard, maybe even one you wouldn’t want to relive. At the time, it didn’t feel good at all, but looking back now, you can see how it shaped you, grew you, and maybe even brings a small smile. Because somehow, on the other side of that pain, something meaningful took place.
Today, we remember when Jesus was tortured and died on the cross. It was not a good day, yet we call it Good Friday because of what came after. Hebrews 12:2 says, “For the joy set before him he endured the cross…”
Because of that, we now have hope, redemption, and new life. So if today feels heavy, hold on. God is still writing your story, that one day you’ll look back on and call good.
