Molly’s Minute: What You Really Need
What are you asking God for today?
Sometime during your day today, you probably lifted up a prayer to God asking for something.
Maybe it was, “God, please bring me healing from this illness.”
Or, “God, please provide for me and my family while we’re struggling financially.”
Or maybe, “God, please give me direction, tell me what I’m supposed to do right now.”
And the Bible does say, “If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer” (Matthew 21:22).
But what I hope you remember today is that God doesn’t just give us what we need. God is what we need.
Because God is our hope, our peace, and our rest.
He is our rock, our defender, and our salvation.
Whatever we need, He is that for us.
So while we’re asking for all those other things from God today, let’s remember that He is what we really need.
Phil. 4:19 “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
