Molly’s Minute: God’s Plan Is Still For Good

In the book of Jeremiah, chapter 29, God’s people in Judah have turned away from Him. He’s given them more than enough chances to turn back to Him, but they haven’t.
So, a group of them is sent into exile in Babylon.
Even there, though, God doesn’t forget them.
In their exile, God says to His people, “For I know the plans I have for you… plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
These people have been uprooted. Their lives have been derailed. But even then, God’s plan is still for His glory and for their good.
And wherever you are today, His plan is still the same for you.
He hasn’t forgotten you. He hasn’t started working against you.
Even in this, He is working to bring forth good.
So today, no matter how things look, let’s find hope in all the good that He has planned for us.
Jeremiah 29:11 “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'”
