Molly’s Minute: He’s Been There, Too

“I’ve been there, too.“
Those are some powerful words, aren’t they?
They can take you from feeling alone and like no one understands you, to feeling seen and having someone to lean on.
Knowing that someone else has felt what you’re feeling, that they’ve been where you are, and made it to the other side—makes a burden just a little bit easier to bear.
And today, whatever you’re feeling, you’re not alone in it.
Hebrews 4:15 says that, “we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses…”
Jesus endured every kind of temptation and trial, but He never sinned. He’s been right where we are, He’s felt our pain, and He’s made it through. And what’s more, He can help us do the same.
So, whatever pain you’re dealing with today, I’d encourage you to draw near to Him. Let Him bring you comfort, let Him empathize with you, and ask Him to show you the way through.
