Molly’s Minute: God Never Stops Pursuing The Lost

February 14, 2020

A little while ago, I lost something that was pretty important to me: a handmade keychain that my husband, Vaughn, had gotten for me in Africa.

It was a gift, and a one-of-a-kind gift, too. Not something that I could just replace.

I looked for it everywhere, but I couldn’t find it. And eventually, I had to accept that I wasn’t going to.

See, when you and I lose something, we will eventually stop looking for it if we can’t find it.

But God is different.

It doesn’t matter how many times they turn from Him or how long they resist Him. He is always pursuing them, and He won’t stop until they come back to Him.

So, if you’ve turned away from God, know that He loves you too much to stop pursuing you. And if one of your loved ones is wandering from God, know that He’s pursuing them, too.

Ezekiel 34:16 “I will seek the lost, bring back the scattered, bind up the broken and strengthen the sick…”
