Molly’s Minute: God Is More Than A Lifeguard

Something I know I need to work on is going to God even when everything is great.
Because I tend to treat Him like a lifeguard; I only think I need Him when I’m drowning.
But the truth is that we need God just as desperately in our best moments as we do in our worst moments.
We need Him every day. Every day, we need His wisdom, guidance, and protection. And more than all that, every day, we need the forgiveness that we have in Jesus.
He is not our lifeguard. He is the air that we breathe.
So, no matter where you are today, if you’re on the top of the highest mountain, or at the bottom of the deepest valley, you need Him. Don’t forget to spend some time with Him today.
John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me, you can do nothing.”
