Molly’s Minute: Anxiety For Peace

What’s been making you feel anxious today?
Maybe it’s a few run-of-the-mill, everyday anxieties. Maybe it’s something bigger.
Whatever it is, take a second to acknowledge it. Picture holding that anxiety in your hand.
And then place it into Jesus’ hand instead.
Philippians 4:6-7 says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation… present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
When anxious thoughts come into our minds, we don’t have to hold onto them.
God’s word says that if we trust Him with them, He will take those thoughts and replace them with His peace—a peace that will guard us and keep that anxiety from returning.
So if you’ve got anxious thoughts today, don’t keep them to yourself. Share them with Him, and in return, feel His peace take their place.
