Coincidence or God? The Truth From James 1:17
“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” – James 1:17
James 1:17 is a beautiful reminder that God is intricately involved in our day-to-day lives, more than we even know.
Every day, He is providing little reminders of His love for us, but do we recognize them?
It’s easy to praise God when He so clearly moves mountains on our behalf, but sometimes smaller blessings fall through the cracks… like that rainbow after a storm, the fit of laughter that causes you to lose your breath, or even the perfect parking spot at the store.
It might be tempting to chalk these little things up as coincidences, but we serve a God who holds the entire world in His hands. How silly would it be to think that the little joys that make our days are nothing more than happy accidents?
Today, let’s make a point to give credit where credit’s due and worship God for each blessing He sends our way.
