Christmas is already here. There might be a bunch of last-minute things you have to do today like baking, cleaning the house, rushing off to visit loved ones, and so on…

But what if you just paused?

What if you took off the oven mitts, put down the vacuum cleaner, and took some time to remind yourself that God sent His one and only son in the form of a baby to save us all…

The Bible tells us that in the midst of all the excitement and chaos of Jesus’ birth, Mary “but Mary kept all these things in her heart and thought about them often.” (Luke 2:19). Sometimes, the most important thing you can do is to be still and ponder God’s faithfulness like Mary did.

Let’s take a moment today, step away from the obligations, and let our minds rest on the miraculous and unfathomable act of love that God displayed to us by sending His son.

Below are some resources and Biblical Scriptures to help get you started. Merry Christmas!
