You Can Give Back This November With These Events
Tis’ the season! Thanksgiving is sneaking up on us, and then before we know it, Christmas will be knocking at our doors…
Typically, when we think of Thanksgiving, we think of a table overflowing with food to enjoy with loved ones and delicious leftovers for days after. Then there’s Christmas, making us think of our beloved Savior’s humble birth and gifts under a beautifully decorated tree.
These images can make us smile, just by thinking about them. However, for some people, these things are far from reality. There are individuals all around us who may not have enough food for a Thanksgiving meal, or they aren’t able to buy their child a gift this Christmas. Fortunately, our Heavenly Father cares deeply about the details, from food to gifts, and He is a faithful provider.
Thanks to God’s generosity and faithfulness, there are two opportunities to help those in need just in time for the holiday season, but we need your help.
Would you be able and interested in being a helping hand? If you are, we’d like to invite you to participate in our Pantry Project initiative and our Chick-fil-A Toys for Tots Drive this month!
Pantry Project in partnership with Rosedale Baptist Church
The Pantry Project helps put food on people’s tables by collecting donations for local pantries. Three times this month, we will be at different spots throughout Maryland collecting items. You can bring your donation to any of the three van stops below, visit with the BRIGHT-FM team, and enter to win a great prize! You can also simply drive up, roll down your window, and one of our team members will take your donation.
This is a great way to help ensure families won’t go hungry this Thanksgiving, and we’d love to see you at any one of these three events. For more information and location details, visit our event page or check out any of the links below:
Saturday, November 12th from 9AM – 11AM
Monday, November 21st from 4PM – 6PM

Chick-fil-A Toys for Tots Drive – November 12th from 10AM – 6PM
There’s nothing quite like seeing the genuine joy and excitement of a child, and this toy drive wants to ensure that each kid feels that happiness on Christmas morning. On November 12th, Tots for Tots and Chick-fil-A Restaurants will be collecting toys for Christmas at their 11 Stuff-The-Truck locations. You’re invited to stop by with a toy donation, and when you do, you’ll receive a free Chick-fil-A sandwich voucher as a “thank you!”
BRIGHT-FM will be at Pasadena Crossing next to the Chick-fil-A Restaurant from 1PM – 3PM if you’d like to stop by. For more locations and details, check out our Chick-fil-A Toys for Tots event page.
