REMINDER: You Are Not Bugging God

NEWSFLASH: God wants to help you. You are NOT bugging Him when you go to Him.

If you think, “Surely, God has more important stuff to do than to listen to my little problems…”

Maybe to your ears that sounds like an appropriately reverent, respectful thought. But I want you to know you’ve got this wrong.

Our God is a God who wants to HELP YOU. He is always for you and longs to be the ONE that you go to with all your stuff. Go ahead and bug Him.

Take him all your problems, joys, frustrations, triumphs, defeats, even the things that seem so minuscule and unimportant…Take them to God. It’s all important to Him.

…And by the way, you’re not bugging Him.

“So the Lord must wait for you to come to him
    so he can show you his love and compassion.
For the Lord is a faithful God.
    Blessed are those who wait for his help.”– Isaiah 30:18
