Pruning Leads To Better Things

Have you ever had to cut back a plant?

At first, it feels wrong. You’re trimming away growth that took time and care. It can feel like a loss.

But then, new life begins to appear. Fresh leaves. Stronger branches. What looked like damage was actually preparation.

Jesus says in Gospel of John 15:1–2
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener… every branch that does bear fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.”

Pruning isn’t punishment. It’s purpose.

If you’ve had to close a door or let something go, trust that it’s not without reason.

The Gardener knows what He’s doing.
