Pray This Dangerous Little Prayer of King David’s

I’ve always loved a fresh start.
I love thinking about the ways I want to grow and change, and I love asking God questions.
I love to pray the words right out of Psalm 139 that King David wrote. He said, “Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”
I’ll be honest: that’s a courageous prayer right there. “Search me, O God.”
Picture yourself just opening up your arms to the Lord, saying, “Open me up. Tell me what you really see!” Because here’s the thing…God sees it, whether you ask Him to show you or not.
He sees it.
You can’t hide from Him.
You’re not going to fool him.
He’s the only one you can’t fake out.
Right now, God knows exactly how you’re doing.
Do you want to grow? Do you want to transform? Do you want to be your best this year? I challenge you today to pray that dangerous little prayer of King David. You can trust God to show you what is true.
Here’s the beautiful part: He loves you just the way you are but too much to leave you that way.
