Molly’s Minute: The Day The Lord Has Made

Every year on our wedding anniversary, my husband, Vaughn, makes me a gift.
He doesn’t buy it. He makes it, with his own two hands.
And of course, I love every gift he gets me. But those handmade gifts—the ones that take just a little more time, thought, and effort—those are always my favorites.
When something is made just for us, it’s special. It brings a little bit of extra joy.
And this day was made for us.
Psalm 118:24, “This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
Today is no generic, ordinary day.
God made this day for us. And, what’s more, He filled it with good things—opportunities to experience Him, reflect Him, and grow closer to Him.
