Maverick City Music Takes Home 4 Awards At 2023 Grammys

Last night was a BIG night for every one in the music industry, but especially for Maverick City Music, who added four Grammy awards to their collection.
The group’s wins included Best Gospel Performance/Song for “Kingdom,” Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for “Fear Is Not My Future,” Best Gospel Album for “Kingdom Book One Deluxe,” and Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for “Breathe.”
It’s always exciting to see music that glorifies God be celebrated on such a big stage for the whole world to see, and Maverick City made sure to give God the glory and use their brief moments on stage to share the hope of Christ and what He’s done through their music. One powerful moment came from Naomi Raine, member of Maverick City Music, as she shared that their album “Kingdom Book One,” came from being able to go into Everglades Correctional Facility where they ministered to incarcerated people and “let them know that God still loves them and still sees them.”
In case you missed last night’s show or didn’t catch Maverick City Music’s wins, below are clips of their acceptance speeches for each of their winning albums:
