How To Watch The Charlie Brown Christmas Special This Year

BRIGHT-FM

Last year, you may have heard whispers of the beloved Charlie Brown holiday specials no longer being available to watch on TV. Fortunately, that is no longer true, but there are a few important details to be aware of if you want to watch it.

If you’re an Apple TV+ subscriber, you can watch “A Charlie Brown Christmas” anytime you’d like since the streaming platform acquired the rights to the Peanut franchise in 2020. There’s no need to panic, however, if you don’t subscribe to Apple TV+. Thanks to a partnership between PBS and Apple TV+, you don’t have to miss out on this holiday classic.

“A Charlie Brown Christmas” will air live on PBS and PBS Kids for one night only on Sunday, December 19 at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Unfortunately, if you miss this live showing, you can’t stream it on other platforms such as Disney+ or Hulu; After December 19th, you can only view it on Apple TV+ for $4.99 a month.

So, get your tissues ready for Linus’ Christmas monologue and mark your calendars for Sunday, December 19th at 7:30 PM. You don’t want to miss this Christmas classic!
