Is The Devil Trying To Distract You? Here’s What You Need To Do

In Nehemiah 6, Nehemiah was rebuilding the wall around Jerusalem as God had called him to do, but he kept getting interrupted.

“So Sanballat and Geshem sent a message asking me to meet them at one of the villages in the plain of Ono.

But I realized they were plotting to harm me, so I replied by sending this message to them: “I am engaged in a great work, so I can’t come. Why should I stop working to come and meet with you?’”‭‭- Nehemiah‬ ‭6:2-3‬

The enemy will always try to pull you off the wall. He will always want to get you distracted from the good work God has given to you. Don’t let him.

You don’t owe the enemy an explanation. Stay focused. Stay in the Spirit. Do the work God has for you.

Not everyone will approve. Not everyone will understand. Not everyone will thank you. And that’s ok. Why? Because you report to God, not to them.
