Fully Secure, Forever Learning

Security and mystery don’t usually seem to belong together, but that’s exactly what we find in Jesus.

In Christ, we never have to question His love, His faithfulness, or where we stand with Him. We are completely secure. At the same time, there will always be more of Him to discover. His wisdom, character, and love are deeper than we can fully comprehend.

I was reminded of this recently when my husband shared stories from his life I’d never heard before. Even after all this time, I’m still learning new things about him. The more I know him, the more I want to know.

Our relationship with Jesus is even more beautiful. We can rest in the security of who He is while spending a lifetime discovering more of Him.

“I want them to be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have complete confidence that they understand God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ himself. In him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” — Colossians 2:2-3
