1. Sip Coffee for a Cause: Operation Christmas Child Coffee Breaks

All October long, you can join BRIGHT-FM and Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck for Operation Christmas Child Coffee Breaks. Stop by, pick up an empty shoebox to fill for a child in need, and enjoy a free cup of coffee as a thank-you!

October 2 — Mountain Christian Church, Aberdeen Campus, 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

October 9 — Abundant Life Church, Glen Burnie, 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

October 16 — Bethel Baptist Church, Ellicott City, 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

October 23 — Kent Island Methodist Church, Chester, 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Tip: Pack useful items like school supplies and toys, then pray over your box before sending it.

2. Help Your Community: Join the Pantry Project

All October long, you can join Superior Motor Company and BRIGHT-FM for The Pantry Project. Together, we are making sure local food pantries are well stocked to serve families in need. Stop by, drop off your donation, and visit the BRIGHT-FM table to grab some free swag, including the brand new BRIGHT-FM magnet for your car so you can make hope louder everywhere you go.

October 6 — Gersebeck’s, Pasadena, 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

October 13 — Graul’s Market, Parkton, 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

October 20 — Graul’s Market, Bel Air, 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

3. Faith & Music: CROWDER

Get ready to get filled up with the best music and messages that will fire you up! CROWDER is coming to Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena at UMBC in Baltimore for the Grace & Glory Tour. Not only will you hear incredible music, you’ll hear a message from pastor Louie Giglio, plus Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes will be along to lead worship.

Tip: Invite a friend, and bring an empty belly because concessions will be available.

4. Scenic Drive: Listen to 104.7FM

Did you know that BRIGHT-FM has expanded? It’s true! You can now hear BRIGHT-FM not only in the Hagerstown / Frederick areas, but Mt. Airy, Westminster, Thurmont, Chambersburg, Gettysburg, Berkeley Springs, and Morgantown in the Pennsylvania and West Virginia areas! Take a scenic drive and enjoy pumping the positive hits on 104.7FM with the windows rolled down!
