Need Breakfast To-Go? Try These Easy Sausage Breakfast Bites

There is not much better than layering savory sausage, fresh eggs and sharp cheddar cheese onto a hot biscuit to start your morning.
As I continue to look for delicious recipes that are wonderful for meal prep (easy to eat on-the-go or bring to the radio station early in the AM) and keep the carbs down, these sausage breakfast bites have quickly become a favorite.
Get all the flavors of your morning biscuit with this easy to make and bake recipe. These are wonderful to make for a big gathering or, you can be like me, and store them in the refrigerator or freezer.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs – Ground Sausage
- 16 oz – Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 8 oz – Shredded Parmesan Cheese
- 2 cups – Almond Flour
- 3/4 cup – Water
- 2 – Eggs
Step 1 – Preheat oven to 350
Step 2 – In a large bowl, add all ingredients in the order listed
Step 3 – Mix until well blended (I like to use my hands)
Step 4 – Use an ungreased round muffin or square brownie pan (Love using that square pan)
Step 5 – Portion fill cups with mixture (about 4 oz servings)

Step 6 – Bake for 20 minutes
Step 7 – Turn on upper broiler and let broil for 5 minutes

Step 8 – Remove from oven and serve or let cool to store
Makes Approx. 20 servings
