Mark Your Calendars To Bring The Joy This Christmas

December 5, 2022

Tis the season of celebrating Christ’s birth! What better way to celebrate our Savior’s gift and sacrifice on Earth than adopting His same selfless, generous attitude?

We often do this by giving gifts to our loved ones on Christmas morning, but would you consider also giving in a different way this year?

This month, just in time for Christmas, we will be collecting food donations for people in need throughout our state. There are individuals all around us who may not know where their next meal is coming from, and they rely on local pantries to help them through this hard time.

These pantries make such a difference, but they can’t do it without generous people like YOU. If you are able to donate, please consider giving your time and some resources to our Pantry Project.

Here’s how it works:

  • Prepare a food donation of any of the items listed below (any amount donated is greatly appreciated!):

Pancake Mixes • Muffin Mixes • Pasta Sides • Peanut Butter • Potato Sides • Mashed Potatoes • Rice Sides • Cake Mixes • Brownie Mixes • Frosting • Peanut Butter • Canned Chicken Soup • Snacks (cookies, crackers) • Canned Meats (Spam, corned beef, ham, salmon) • Pancake Syrup • Granola Bars • Canned Fruit • Canned Corn • Canned Meals (Chef Boyardee, Stews, Chili) • Tomato Products (especially diced tomatoes, tomato paste) •Pet Supplies • Personal Bathroom Essentials • Crackers • Cookies • Laundry Detergent
  • Take your donation to one of our Pantry Project locations (linked below) and look for the BRIGHT-FM van. Our team will be there to greet you!
  • Drop off your donation, pick up your freebies, and enter to win a great prize!

By donating food, you will play a HUGE role in making sure these pantries are fully stocked and ready to serve this holiday season.

If you are able, please join us at the events below! We can’t do it without you and it’s a great way to celebrate Christ’s birth through giving. We hope to see you there!
