Are You Tired? Here Are 3 Verses You Need To Hear
Are you tired?
Feel like the grind is going to last forever?
If I told you that it could change, by following one simple piece of advice, would you do it? It’s not easy… but it is very, very simple. You have to step out of your comfort zone and do something you don’t normally do, but it works. I am a living testimony to this very simple exercise of faith. The key is to speak the word of God out loud! You breathe life into your words, whether your words are good or bad. Proverbs 18:21 says, “The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences.”
Here are a few Bible verses to help encourage your heart. Try speaking these verses out loud and personalizing them.
Read Jeremiah 31:25: “For I have given rest to the weary and joy to the sorrowing.”
Say out loud: “Thank you, Lord, for refreshing me while I am weary, tired, scared, overwhelmed.”
Read Romans 15:13: “I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Say out loud: “God of hope, fill me with all joy and peace as I trust in You, so that I may overflow with hope by the power of your Holy Spirit.”
Read Psalm 30:2: “O Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you restored my health.”
Say out loud: “Lord, my God, I remember when I called to You for help, and You restored my _________ (health, finances, attitude, emotions, thoughts, children…).”
When words are spoken, you get what you speak. Start speaking God’s word out loud to yourself and feel your heart start to come alive.
