6 Promises of God You Can Hold On To

When you’re filled with anxiety, when you’re wondering if God will come through, when you’re wondering if God can be trusted… here are six promises of God that you can hold on to, no matter what is happening in your world.

God is with you.

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10

God will strengthen you.

“God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.” – Psalm 46:1

God will help you.

“For I hold you by your right hand—I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.'” – Isaiah 41:13

GOd will hold you.

“I cling to you; your strong right hand holds me securely.” – Psalm 63:8

God will give you wisdom.

“If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.” – James 1:5

God can be trusted.

“Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.” – Hebrews 10:23
