Account Executive/Advertising Media Specialist

BRIGHT-FM and Brighter Media Group, Baltimore (Peter & John Ministries) is currently hiring an Account Executive.

Position: This position is full-time.

Location: Baltimore, MD

Account Executives/Advertising Media Specialists generate new sales, execute and optimize advertising campaigns across our broadcast, live event, and digital platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary responsibilities will include prospecting local direct business owners and managers, presenting, selling, and executing advertising solutions that may include radio, digital media and special event sponsorships, as well as special promotions across our broadcast and digital platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A Qualified Candidate:

  • Has a bachelor’s degree
  • Has one-to-three years of experience selling traditional media and/or
  • Has a deep understanding of marketing principles and how to help customers grow their business
  • Has a record of success in multi-tasking and staying organized in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
  • Easily cultivates relationships
  • Is proficient in identifying and reaching key decision makers at businesses with high potential
  • Listens and uncovers client challenges to develop a compelling, comprehensive marketing strategy that achieves client objectives
  • Has the ability overcome client objections, articulate the value of our proposal, and illustrate potential ROI
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office products; Wide Orbit knowledge is a plus
  • Maintains a professional appearance
  • Possesses a driver’s license and good driving record

Creative Volunteer

To be considered, you need:

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in your creative field
  • Ability to travel to events (if choosing live event opportunities)
  • Attention to detail

 

Event Volunteer

If you love BRIGHT-FM and you love people, you will love being an Event Volunteer. You  make hope louder through your smile, kind words, and welcoming spirit at BRIGHT-FM Events like the Pantry Project and special events like concerts.

To be considered, you need:

  • reliable transportation
  • a background check (don’t worry, we’ll handle this)
  • a friendly and self-motivated demeanor
  • the ability to lift up to 30lbs

Internship Opportunities

Semester In Media Internship Program

Grow your skills and your faith through the Semester In Media Internship Program. Designed for undergraduate and graduate students, this program opens the door to hands-on experience in the exciting world of media, all while encouraging your personal spiritual journey.

To be considered, you must:

  • be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student
  • have a reliable form of transportation
  • have the ability to travel to both our station in Lansdowne and off-site locations in our listening area as necessary
  • work a maximum of 25 hours each week, Monday-Friday
