BRIGHT Events For Your Family This Summer 

1. For All the Car-Lovers: Drive Up to the Carlisle Nationals

Bring the family along for this exciting time for any car-lover, celebrating Chryslers and trucks. Each of the weekends will have their own fair share of activities and events for everyone in the family; plus, the BRIGHT-FM van will be at both places, so make sure you check out the dates we’ll be there and stop by!

July 10-12 — Carlisle Chrysler Nationals, Carlisle PA Fairgrounds, starting at 7 a.m each day.

August 7-9 — Carlisle Truck Nationals, Carlisle PA Fairgrounds, starting at 7 a.m each day.

2. Make a Change in the Community: Help the Pantry Project

This summer, you can join Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home and BRIGHT-FM for The Pantry Project. Together, we are making sure local food pantries are well stocked to serve families in need. Stop by, drop off your donation, and visit the BRIGHT-FM table to grab some free swag.

July 13 — Chick-fil-A, Catonsville, 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

August 3 — Grace Fellowship Church, Shrewsbury, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Tip: Check out the downloadable shopping list for ideas, and pray for the families who will receive these donations and the hope it will bring into their homes.

3. A Never-Before-Seen Event: BRIGHT Nights

Come enjoy a FREE concert by Natalie Layne, featuring favorites like Fragile and All Joy. With games, food trucks, and more, not only will the kids be having a great time, but we’ll bet you will too. After all, it’s going to be a BRIGHT night at Central Christian in Baltimore, and we’d love to have you there.

Tip: Go early to meet Jack from the Afternoon Show and say hello to Natalie Lane.

4. Faith Day: The Chesapeake Baysox and Postgame Concert

Come watch the Chesapeake Baysox play the Harrisburg Senators on Sunday, August 9th, along with a FREE postgame concert featuring SORENSEN. With a Kids Park beforehand and a concert afterwards, what’s not to love for your family? Plus, fans of any age can run the bases postgame.

Tip: Drive over early to get photos and autographs with the current Baysox roster, starting at 11:30 a.m.
