Your Life Will Change When You Ask God This Question

Have you ever said to a friend, “Hey, let’s get together this Friday night and confess our sins to each other. That sounds like a great time!” No, you probably haven’t.
Well, have you ever said to God, “God, show me my flaws, show me my sins, show me where I am failing You?” Ah, okay. You see, that’s exactly what David did! He asked God to search for sin and point it out, even to the extreme of testing him and his thoughts.
People, think of it this way…What David asked God to do is kind of like doing surgery on sin because unless it’s pointed out and identified to us, how in the world are we going to recognize it?! Now here’s where the application comes in. When it is pointed out to us, what’s the next step? Repentance followed by forgiveness. That’s how we fix the problem.
Ask God to search your heart today, and then when He points things out, don’t run from the correction! Handle it and continue “along the path of everlasting life.”
Praying for you, friend. You can do this.
“Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” – Psalm 139:23-24
