This Six-Year-Old Hero Selflessly Saved His Little Sister

Six-year-old Bridger Walker didn’t hesitate for a moment before he jumped into action to save his little sister.
Bridger saw a dog charging at his four-year-old sister, and immediately stepped in to shield her. The dog turned on Bridger, injuring him. But Bridger grabbed his sister’s hand and ran with her to safety.
The whole encounter landed Bridger in surgery for two hours. And in the end, he received 90 stitches to his face.
Now, he’s in pain while healing. But his heroes are lifting his spirits by reassuring him that he is a hero himself.
Chris Evans, who plays Captain America—one of Bridger’s favorite heroes—sent him a tear-inducing video message.
As did Robert Downey, Jr. Who is better known to Bridger as Iron Man.
Other on-screen heroes have also commented on Bridger’s act of bravery. Jeremy Renner, who plays Hawkeye in the Avengers, called Bridger “the first Avenger.” Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), Tom Holland (Spider-Man), and Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk) left messages for the family as well.
Bridger’s family has also asked that no one make judgments about the dog or its owners, “because we love them.”
There is so much beauty in this story. And Bridger is one very special boy.
