Molly’s Minute: You’re Free

What’s been holding you back today? Which chains are you having trouble shaking?

Is guilt over the past weighing you down? Is fear stopping you from taking the next step? 

The enemy loves to bring up those feeling in us. He tries to keep us locked up in those chains—but he can’t.

Because our God has set us free.

2 Corinthians 3:17, “Now the Lord is the spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”

Jesus’ sacrifice for us on the cross and the constant presence of the Holy Spirit in us mean that we are free. Free from guilt, able to turn over a new leaf. Free from fear, able to live confidently and with hope. Free from sin, able to choose a better way.

So, today, don’t let the enemy keep you down. Remember what Christ has done for you, and shake off those chains.
