Molly’s Minute: Your Joy Depends On Your Focus

It’s only Monday, but you might already be looking forward to the weekend again.
Because the weekend is just a happier time, right? You don’t have to work, you don’t have as many obligations, and life is so much less stressful.
But, you know, you don’t have to wait for the weekend to feel joy.
You can be as happy as you are during the weekend every single day this week.
Because, in the words of Russell M. Nelson, “The joy we feel has little to do with the circumstances of our lives and everything to do with the focus of our lives.”
That means that even when you’re stressed at work, when you’ve got to be a million different places this week, when traffic is terrible, or when someone’s getting on your nerves, you can still feel joy.
You just have to keep your focus on the One who brings you that joy.
So, focus on Him this week, and let His joy fill you up.
Nehemiah 8:10 “The joy of the Lord is my strength.”
