Molly’s Minute: Your Father Knows What You Need

When I was growing up, my mom had what I would call super emotional awareness.
If I’d had a rough day, she could give me one look and instantly know something was wrong.
She’d lock eyes with me and ask me if I was okay. And before I’d even said a word, her arms would be around me, giving me the hug she knew would make me feel better.
My mom knew me and my needs better than just about anyone.
And God knows you even better than that.
Matthew 6:8 says, “…your father knows what you need before you ask Him.”
God knows you on a deeper level than anyone on this earth.
He knows all your thoughts, all your hurt, all your desires. He knows exactly what you need before you say a single word.
So whatever you need today, or even if you don’t know what you need, lean on him. Because He knows and has the provision for every need.
