Molly’s Minute: You Will Find Him

As a kid, one of my favorite games to play with my parents was hide and seek.

But until I got older, I didn’t realize how easy they were on me. Especially when it was their turn to hide.

They’d hide somewhere totally obvious. And they’d make sure I could see a hand or a foot peeking out from their hiding place. 

My parents didn’t make themselves hard to find because they wanted me to be able to find them.

And God does the same thing for us.

In Jeremiah 29:13, God says, “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.”

Wherever you are today, God is not far from you. And He isn’t making Himself hard to find.

He’s leaving evidence of His presence everywhere He takes you.

So today, I’d encourage you to look for Him, knowing that if you do, you will find Him. Sooner and closer than you think.
