Molly’s Minute: When We Can’t, God Can

I’ve been feeling pretty overwhelmed recently.
With all of the changes, added burdens, and stress going around right now, I’ve been tempted to say the words, “I can’t do this.”
Maybe you’ve been wanting to say that, too.
We want to measure our challenges by what we can do and how strong we are. And when we think we can’t handle it, we say we can’t do it.
But we shouldn’t be doing that.
We should be measuring our challenges by what God can do and how strong He is.
Because yes, our peace, patience, strength, and perseverance might be getting put to the test. They might be running out.
But when God gave us the Holy Spirit, He gave us access to His peace, patience, strength, perseverance, and so much more.
He gave us the power to live beyond our natural ability.
So, if you feel like you just cannot do it right now, remember:
Maybe we can’t. But God certainly can. So with Him, we will.
Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
