Molly’s Minute: What We Know About God Overshadows Uncertainty

There are a lot of things we just don’t know right now.
We don’t know when this is going to end, or how it’s going to end. We don’t know how we’re going to make it through, or what’s going to happen along the way.
I’ve felt that uncertainty closing in on me in the past few days, almost breathing down my neck.
And I know I’m not alone.
And so, I want to remind us both today that what we do know about God completely overshadows what we don’t know about the future.
So when we wonder how long this will go on, let’s remind ourselves that God’s timing is always perfect.
When we don’t know how we’re going to make it through, let’s remember that God never leaves us or forsakes us, and He’s always there to help us.
And when we’re worried about our health or the health of our loved ones, let’s find comfort in knowing that God is always good and wise and right in everything He does.
What we do know about God is so much greater than what we don’t know about our situation. So let’s focus on the things we know for sure.
Psalms 3:3 “But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.”
