Molly’s Minute: We May Still Be Waiting, But God Is Still Working

We’re all in the middle of a big game right now.

It’s a big round of the waiting game.

And when the waiting game goes on for this long, it’s easy to start to feel like God isn’t working.

Nothing’s different day-to-day, we’re not making any progress, we’re not seeing anything changing. So clearly, God’s just not working, right?

Wrong.

If you’re feeling stuck in this season of waiting, if you’re feeling like God’s not working, I understand. This has gone on for so long.

But, I want to remind you of this:

Nothing, absolutely nothing, can stop God’s will.

We might not be able to see it, but He is still working. He’s making changes for us, He’s making moves for us, and He is preparing us for something new. 

Just because we’re still waiting, doesn’t mean He’s stopped working. He’s still at it.

Let’s believe that today.

Lam. 3:25 & 26 “The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.”
