Molly’s Minute: What God Promises, He Delivers

Just like pretty much everyone else I know, I love shopping online.
And when I buy something, I’m immediately excited for it to come. Seriously, I check the mailbox every single day for it.
And it’s a little disappointing on the days when it isn’t there yet. But I never give up on it. I never start to think it’s not coming.
Because I know that just because it’s not there yet, that doesn’t mean it’s not coming at all.
Maybe you’re waiting on something from God right now. And maybe you’re starting to get discouraged. Because it feels like every single day, you’re checking that mailbox, and it’s still not there.
If that’s where you are, I want to encourage you to wait on God like we all wait for that thing we ordered online: with hope. With the knowledge that just because it’s not there yet doesn’t mean it’s not going to come.
Because what God promises, He delivers—in His way, and on His time. But He always delivers.
Psalms 31:24 “Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord!”
