Molly’s Minute: Perfect Love

As a kid, I absolutely loved pineapple. It was my favorite food of all time.
Until it wasn’t.
Seemingly overnight, things changed. And now, I don’t dislike pineapple, but I don’t love it like I used to anymore.
The love that you and I have—for things and for people—isn’t perfect. Our love can change and fade over time.
But God’s love is perfect. So, it always stays the same.
Isaiah 54:10, “Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken…”
There is nothing in the universe that could ever change God’s love for us.
There’s nothing you could do to make Him love you more. And nothing you could do to make Him love you less.
He loves you. Always has, always will. That’s perfect love.
