Molly’s Minute: Trusting God Means Believing His Way Is Better Than Ours

I’ve been hearing a lot lately that I need to trust God in this situation. You’ve probably been hearing that, too.
And we know that He is deserving of our trust. He is so good, He’s Lord over all, and He’s got it all worked out.
So, we know what to do and we know why we should do it, but…
How do we do it?
What does trusting God in the midst of a global pandemic look like?
I read something the other day that said, “When you trust God, you stop trying to make things go your way.”
So in this situation, trusting God means putting down our to-do list, it means not obsessing over who or what we’ve been in direct contact with, it means not excessively buying supplies.
It means we let our way go, and we allow His way to replace our way.
Let’s stop trying to make things go our way, and let’s trust that His way is better than ours.
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
