Molly’s Minute: Trading Up

Have you ever struck a deal with someone where you felt like the one who traded up?

I remember in elementary school, I used to trade sandwiches with one of my friends. I’d give her my turkey sandwich, and in return, she would give me her peanut butter and marshmallow fluff sandwich.

For young Molly, that was an amazing deal. In my mind, I was 100% trading up.

And today, you and I have the chance to trade up with God.

Philippians 4:6-7,“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation… present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

When we offer our anxieties up to God, He gives us His peace in return. Talk about trading up.

So, if you’re feeling anxious today, make that trade. Give all your fears over to Him, and in exchange, He will fill you with His peace.
