Molly’s Minute: The New Has Come

My husband, Vaughn, and I got a new car a few weeks back. But sometimes, I still find myself driving like I’m in the old one.
I forget to use the new backup camera and still worry about making it up particularly steep hills. I’ll even look for my old car in the parking lot.
I forget that that car isn’t a part of my life anymore.
Have you forgotten that your old ways are no longer a part of you?
2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
If you’ve got a past, the enemy will try to throw it back in your face. But in Jesus’ hands, that past has no power over you anymore.
