Molly’s Minute: The Best Place To Rest

For our first anniversary, my husband, Vaughn, and I went to D.C. for a day to hit the museums.
And oh, my goodness, did we do a ton of walking.
I remember, we were walking to our second museum of the day, and we had already walked about five miles. We were exhausted.
So, the second we saw a bench on the sidewalk, we collapsed right onto it and just sat there for a while.
Right when we were thinking we couldn’t go any farther, we found that place to rest.
Maybe you need a place to rest today.
You feel like you’ve been walking for miles and miles, you’re not sure how much farther you can go, and you just need a place to pause for a minute.
If that’s where you are, I would encourage you to go to Jesus. Because in Him is the best place to rest.
In Matthew, Jesus tells us that in Him, we will find rest for our souls.
So, let’s go to Him—our best resting place—and receive the rest we need today.
Matthew 11:29 “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
