Molly’s Minute: Strength In Weakness

Over the past few years, I’ve gotten really into weightlifting.
And in that time, I’ve learned that one of the keys to getting stronger is working your muscles to exhaustion.
You have to bring yourself to the very end of your strength. Because it’s there—at your breaking point—where the real growth happens.
In weightlifting, to grow weak is to actually grow stronger.
And for us as Christians, it’s the same way in life.
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 “Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses… For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
It is in our weakness that God’s strength shines the most.
A weak moment isn’t a problem. It’s an opportunity to lean into Him as a source of power.
So, if you’ve reached the end of your strength today, lean in. Because His strength is just getting started.
