Molly’s Minute: Plant Good Seeds

June 24, 2020

At some point in life, you’ve probably heard the saying, “You reap what you sow.”

Whatever seeds you plant, that’s what you’ll get in return.

I can’t plant pepper seeds in my garden and expect cucumbers to pop up, that’s just not how it works.

And it doesn’t work that way in our lives, either.

Every action, every word, and every thought of ours is like a seed.

And if we want to see good things like love, joy, and peace growing in our lives, those are the seeds we have to plant with what we say, do, and think about.

We won’t see good things growing if we aren’t planting the seeds for them.

So let’s plant some good seeds today.

Psalm 139:23-24 God, examine me and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any bad thing in me. Lead me on the road to everlasting life.
