Molly’s Minute: Not A God Of Confusion

Growing up, cleaning my room was a constant battle between my parents and me.
From their perspective, my room was a wreck. Clothes, books, loose papers, and shoes covered every surface. You couldn’t even see most of the floor.
But when I looked at my room, I saw my system.
I knew where every piece of clothing and homework assignment in that room was. It might have looked like disorganized madness, but it made sense to me.
Just like the madness that is our lives makes perfect sense to God.
1 Corinthians 14:33, “God is not a God of confusion but of peace.”
When we feel tossed around by the chaos in our lives, we can be sure that God is not thrown off. He never is. When we see craziness and disorder, He sees His good purpose and exactly how He’s going to accomplish it.
So, if you can’t make sense of your mess today, rest in the promise that God can. And trust that one day, the God of peace will show you exactly what he was doing in it.
