Molly’s Minute: No Season Is Forever

It’s always right about this time during the winter that I start to feel like it’s never going to end.
The cold and darkness have been around for so long that I wonder if they’re going to stay forever.
But then, I start to see the signs of spring.
Daffodils peeking through the soil. Buds forming on the trees. Slightly longer days. And I’m reminded that eventually, every season does end, and a new one takes its place.
And that includes the season you’re in today.
In Ecclesiastes 3, we’re told that, “For everything there is a season… a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance…”
Difficult seasons will have their time. We will walk through them in this life.
But they never last forever.
So, let’s hang onto that hope today—the hope that sooner or later, we will see this season change.
Ecclesiastes 3:1&4 “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven… a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance…”
